91ÌƲ®»¢ Relocates to New Office in Manhattan
(NEW YORK, September 7, 2019) –  has relocated to a new office space at 33 East 33rd Street. The need for a new, larger space is a result of rapid growth of the Culture+Performing Arts, Healthcare, and Higher Education practices in New York, and subsequent increase in staff. The new 7,500-SF space in the Midtown South/NoMad district will enable the 20-person design studio to deliver more sophisticated design for its domestic and international clients. It also provides dedicated spaces for design collaboration with local clients and is large enough to ultimately accommodate 50 staff members.
The New York office opened in 2009 and is a principal studio for our practice. Senior designers in New York lead 91ÌƲ®»¢’s acoustics, lighting, and theatrical design disciplines globally. The office is leading design for a $150 million expansion of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, the $35 million Players Centre for Performing Arts in Sarasota, Florida, multiple projects with the , and a design program for performing arts venues in China. Designers in the New York office are also part of the design team for an , the first Ismaili Center in the United States.
The studio is currently leading multiple projects at the SUNY Fashion Institute of Technology. for a  outside Philadelphia, which is modeled as a net-zero energy and carbon building. The project is registered for theÂ
