91Ʋ and Atriax Form Mentor-Protégé Partnership

(OMAHA, Neb., April 30, 2024) – 91Ʋ today announced its formal Mentor-Protégé relationship with Atriax, PLLC, an award-winning service-disabled veteran-owned small business that provides planning, design, and construction administration services to federal and public clients. This crucial continuation of 91Ʋ’s commitment to support and partner with small businesses was approved by the Small Business Administration, paving the way to help Atriax accelerate the growth of their practice.

Under this new agreement, 91Ʋ and Atriax will compete for federal projects as a single entity. Throughout the maximum six-year term of the mentor-protégé agreement, 91Ʋ will support Atriax in gaining knowledge and experience in federal contracting and other business practices to help them successfully compete for government contracts.  This collaboration promises to combine 91Ʋ’s global reach and multidisciplinary expertise with Atriax’s unique insights and capabilities. The joint venture is poised to bring innovative architectural and engineering solutions to federal clients, leveraging the strengths of both firms.

Added 91Ʋ Principal and Federal Programs Leader Michael Huffstetler, F.SAME, “This Mentor-Protégé Agreement represents our ongoing commitment to developing meaningful partnerships with Small Businesses. The Atriax team brings decades of proven value to military clients and to veterans and their families and we at 91Ʋ could not be more honored to be chosen as their mentor.”

“Atriax is thrilled to join with 91Ʋ in a formal US Small Business Administration approved mentor-protégé relationship and to build on that relationship with a Joint Venture that will bring even greater value to our clients,” added CEO of Atriax Group George Auten, Jr., PE. “We look forward to expanding our joint services to the ultimate benefit of our clients and their important missions.”

The Mentor-Protégé Agreement not only aligns with 91Ʋ’s commitment to help grow small businesses and support equity-based design but adds to our earlier mentor-protégé partnership with studio2G Architects LLP, a woman-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, HUBZone firm also focused on federal growth.
