(PHILADELPHIA, Pa., November 1, 2023) 鈥� Principal and Planning and Urban Design Leader Yogesh Saoji, AIA, AICP was invited to serve as a juror for the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) 2024 Excellence Awards in campus planning, architecture, and landscape architecture. Jury members are chosen not only for their design, planning, and implementation experience and judgement, but also to represent a variety of different regions, disciplines, institutions, and firms.

The SCUP Excellence Awards Jury is made up of campus and consulting professionals suggested by the committee, jurors, and others. Jurors are a mix of academic, facility, institute, and corporate individuals who review over 150 entries to determine winners for each category. Jurors will present a concurrent session during the conference to discuss themes and observations realized during the selection process.

Saoji has worked on award winning projects across numerous disciplines and has been rewarded with leadership roles and responsibilities throughout his professional life. His career demonstrates a comprehensive approach to planning and design issues, advocating for ecologically and socially responsive work, volunteering with allied organizations to grow the field鈥檚 reach, and addressing core issues of social justice and inequity while assisting the underserved.
