The updated spaces align with the changing demographics of golf, attracting younger golfers and women. The reimagined entry, living room, event spaces, restaurant and bar, public restrooms, women鈥檚 locker room, and boardroom appeal to existing members and young families.
The clubhouse is a 鈥渉ome away from home鈥� for members, starting with a transparent glass entry that draws in natural light. The interior design blends Montecito鈥檚 style with the historic building鈥檚 colors, textures, and materials. The new entry features barrel-vaulted ceilings, stone flooring, and rich wood details. The living room鈥檚 fireplace, with its arched Santa Barbara sandstone mantle, and feature walls evoke the packing house history. While The Packing House restaurant, with its wine display and rolling library ladder, adds an experiential flair. The design celebrates the historic lemon packing house鈥檚 legacy and Montecito鈥檚 elegance, ushering in a new era in golf.
