The Overlake Golf & Country Club in Medina, Washington sought to transform its clubhouse which was a blend of various dated architectural styles into a modern haven, attracting a wider range of prospective members. Our design mingles tradition with contemporary elegance to establish a sense of place and comfort for all visitors.
The influence of the Pacific Northwest’s natural charm on the clubhouse is reinforced through the color palette and materials such as the various toned woods, blackened steel, brass, and local stone masonry. A wall once occupied by an array of lockers, now boasts breathtaking views with glass facades. The new bar and entertaining deck area allows for panoramic views of the golf course. Breathing new life and a lively soul into the space, the restaurant is now a light-filled dining experience that opens to the wrap-around exterior decks. While the casual elegance of the lounge areas are highlighted with furnishings of light, sleek leather, and bold velvet. This renovation includes meeting and lounge spaces, locker rooms, and the addition of a new bar and lounge.
